I Found an Easter Egg!

After soda blasting all the paint and bondo off the right rear quarter panel, my painter informed me that it is unsalvageable and  has to go. Thankfully my friend Paul who restores fastbacks holds onto stuff and has a complete and original FoMoCo rear quarter panel complete with frame rails, trunk extensions and torque boxes!

This is my friend Paul, I had to arm wrestle him to get the original sheet metal - Thanks Paul!  All the old stuff I pull off my fastback will go back to Paul as he is restoring an early 1965 R-Code Shelby GT350!

Paul is amazed at all the room in my trusty parts hauler (it's a Fjord Saab 900 Turbo) with the quarter panel tucked neatly inside. Note the two GT350's in the corner!
